Today is National School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! Our school bus drivers play a crucial role in ensuring the safe transportation of our students, enabling them to receive education, participate in athletic activities, go on field trips, etc. Please take a moment to thank a bus driver and share your appreciation for all they do!

Parents and Students,
Due to the potential weather today, we are going to move the track meet to next Tuesday or Wednesday. We are waiting to hear back from the timing company with their availability. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Please see the information regarding the Georgia Milestones Assessment. We want to ensure each student has ample opportunity to practice testing strategies. This can be used as a practice tool.
Dear Parents and Students,
Assuming weather permits, the final track meet of the season will take place at Spalding on Thursday, April 11th at 4:45 PM. We appreciate your patience and look forward to seeing you there!

Thank you Ms. Driver, Mrs. Lewis, and the Avid Agents for a super successful Career Day!
On Monday, April 8, 2024, a partial solar eclipse will pass over North America, between 1:45 p.m. and 4:20 p.m., with the sky becoming darkest at the peak of 3:04 p.m. This is our first day back from Spring Break and will be a normal school day for our district. School operations, including check-in and check-out procedures, and all extra-curricular and athletic events will continue as normal. To ensure a safe school day and dismissal, solar-viewing glasses will be provided to all Pre-K through 12th-grade students and teachers.
While this natural phenomenon does provide a unique learning opportunity and is an exciting experience for our students, we urge parents to review the attached safety precautions and discuss them with your child(ren) to ensure the safety of their eyes.
To make this a safe and meaningful learning experience for our students, instructional activities and resources can be found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1D2as73oMt0Z0k5I_zlHovdgzoZReXUxTII8DndGbRLY/edit
